Dave has over 45 years' experience in Housing, starting as a quantity surveyor in the late 70’s for Wimpey, progressing through to being Chief Executive of Keepmoat Group and latterly as Chair and non-Exec of M&J Evans and Allison Homes. 

During his career he has worked for two in house DLO’s in senior capacity, leading Hounslow Homes repair service as Director and as commercial manager of Redcar and Cleveland Council.  As managing director of Kier Maintenance, he oversaw the Maintenance of over 50000 homes nationally employing over 4000 employees. 

He progressed to Chief of Executive of Apollo Group who carried out planned works for over 90 clients incorporating decent homes and eco works, he led the merger with Keepmoat before becoming the Chief Executive of the Group, during his time there they worked for over 250 Registered Housing providers delivering planned, responsive and new build works. 

He led the formation of ilke homes and became executive chair, he has interests in several startup businesses involved in improving the quality of homes and the carbon footprint, ecosurv  which is an environmental consultancy and product provider, adapatavate  a zero-carbon plasterboard manufacturer and Kope an IT business which improves efficiency in the build process and reduces waste. 

Having grown up in a council house on the outskirts of Middlesbrough Dave is passionate about improving the quality of the homes for all Tenants and residents to ensure they have the best living conditions that we can deliver.
