Exploring the Future of Healthy Homes with Engaging Events
30th October 2024
At the Healthy Homes Hub, we're passionate about transforming the housing landscape to make healthy homes the norm. To bring this to life and drive this vision forward, we host a variety of events and initiatives throughout the year, designed to educate, inspire, and connect professionals across the industry.
A Year-Round Calendar of Dynamic Events
Our commitment to action learning and continuous professional development (CPD) is reflected in the diverse events we offer. The majority of these are free for our members, with some available at a small fee. Here's a glimpse of what you can expect:
Podcasts: Voices on Healthy Homes
Tune into our engaging podcasts, where we bring together a range of voices dedicated to the healthy homes movement. Industry experts, academics, government bodies, and housing providers share their insights and experiences on specialised topics. Whether you're commuting or taking the dog for a walk or enjoying a coffee break, our podcasts are a convenient way to stay informed and inspired.
Webinars and Virtual Events: Interactive Learning
Webinars, Masterclasses, and Virtual Events: Interactive Learning
Join our interactive webinars, masterclasses, and virtual events, delving into relevant topics that matter to you. As a housing leader, it's increasingly challenging to stay up to date with the rapid changes across the sector. That’s why we've created a series of bite-sized Masterclasses, delivered by subject matter experts, to help you understand specific areas crucial to maintaining and creating healthy homes.
Whether you’re a Head of Housing, Director, Executive, CEO, or a Non-Executive Director, these sessions will equip you to ask better questions and make stronger strategic decisions. Delivered live, the Masterclasses are also available on catch-up and summarised in a blog for members. We understand that everyone learns differently, and we want to make this knowledge as accessible as possible.
Our virtual events offer the opportunity to learn from and engage with specialists in the field. From the latest technological innovations to policy developments, our webinars and masterclasses keep you at the forefront of industry trends.
In-Person Roundtables: Intimate Discussions
Our invitation-only roundtable discussions provide an intimate setting for meaningful conversations. Held over a bite to eat, these gatherings offer members the chance to network with peers and senior industry leaders. With specialist speakers leading the discussions, you'll gain valuable insights while building lasting professional relationships.
Healthy Homes Hub Network Events: Connecting the Industry
Three times a year, we bring together members from across the industry, housing partners, and academia for our network events. Featuring thought leaders discussing best practices, funding, policy, technology, and innovation, these events are a hub of knowledge and collaboration. The day concludes with networking opportunities offering ample time to continue conversations and reflect on the insights shared.
Experiential Learning: Hands-On Experiences
We believe in the power of action learning and learning through collaboration. That's why we've partnered with Ele-vate to offer immersive learning experiences for our 2025 event series.
As part of this initiative, we're organising study tours departing from locations across the UK. These hands-on experiences showcase healthy homes in action and the latest innovations in practice. You'll have the opportunity to see real-world examples, understand the impact of innovative solutions, and envision how you can implement these ideas in your own work.
If you're interested in showcasing your scheme, product, technology, innovation, project, or site—or anything else that brings us closer to healthy buildings for all—we'd love to hear from you! These collaborative experiences are designed to foster learning and inspire action towards healthier homes.
Partnering with Technology Leaders
In addition to our collaboration with Elevate, we've teamed up with the STFC Hartree Centre. Every six months, they open their doors to demonstrate cutting-edge technology and data that support the creation and maintenance of healthy homes. Discover how gaming technology can manage flood risks and what Formula 1 racing cars can teach us about ventilation strategies. These insights bridge the gap between advanced technology and practical applications in housing.
Share Your Healthy Home Initiatives
Do you have a healthy home initiative you'd like to showcase? We're organising study tours departing from locations across the UK, and we're eager to feature schemes, products, technologies, innovations, projects, or sites that contribute to healthier buildings for all. If you're interested in sharing your work and contributing to our collaborative learning experiences, we'd love to hear from you!

Our events and initiatives are more than just gatherings—they're part of a larger movement to advocate for healthier living environments and drive meaningful change in the housing sector.
